Slide2Talk is a WiFi intercom and walkie-talkie application that allows you to exchange voice messages instantly in local or WiFi networks, even offline without an internet connection. The app works as a two-way radio or intercom with PTT (Push To Talk) function. Incoming audio messages are automatically played through the speaker or headset. It supports any type of local area networks, including WiFi, WiFi-Direct (P2P), WiFi hotspot (access point), Ethernet, Bluetooth/USB tethering, etc. You can use headphones and headsets, and if a wired or Bluetooth headset is connected, it is used automatically. The app also supports hardware PTT buttons.
The app offers real-time audio transmission, communication in closed groups, and the "Quick Reply" function. You can configure a list of "home" WiFi networks, and the app will automatically apply custom settings when you are on those networks. The "Slide To Talk" button protects against accidental audio sending. The app has a very simple user interface, with everything important on a single screen. You can change the interface color, and the switching of light/dark theme is supported.
